Today, I will be introducing the Bench Drilling Machine.

A Bench Drilling Machine is a fixed style of drill that may be mounted on a stand or bolted to the floor. A Bench Drilling Machine consists of a base, column, table, spindle and a drill head, usually driven by an induction motor. The head has a set of handles radiating from a central hub that, when turned, move the spindle and chuck vertically, parallel to the axis of the column. The table can be adjusted vertically and is generally moved by a rack and pinion. The table may also be offset from the spindle’s axis and in some cases rotated to a position perpendicular to the column. Speed change is achieved by manually moving a belt across a stepped pulley arrangement.
I should end it here. Now did all of you have a clearer idea of how the Bench Drilling Machine works?
I will be introducing the Buffing Machine in the next post.

Hi guys...during our first 2 to 3 weeks, we were asked to do and submit an image board each......
The theme for our image board was "Night Lights" and what we have to do was to find pictures from the internet, magazines and etc. we will then have to paste all the pictures found and related to the theme onto a hardboard......this is how one of the image board looks like....

Did you guys have a clearer idea of what an image board is all about? Anyway, see you guys when i post the next time......

Okay, back to blogging…. ^.^ Dear readers, how does our workshop looks like? Not bad though its old? Haa….nevermind let’s get back to today’s topic….
Before the examination starts, the sec 1 batch of students were required to design and create a night light with the given materials, an acrylic board, a terminal block, 1 battery holder, 1 LED, 2 batteries and some wires.
Being only sec 1, we were able to experience the process and use the tools and machines in the workshop.
After a few weeks before our exams, we had all completed and handed in our projects.
Now, let me show you some of the night lights designed and created by our sec ones students.

How? Nice? haha......i think that those designers are really creative though.....
